Superb signed Miniature of a young girl.

A superbly painted c1800s miniature of a young girl with flowing ringlets and wearing a white lacy dress with blue ribbon. It is sealed into a clasp brooch gold coloured, frame which has a lock of hair and gilt initials in the back. A signature by her left shoulder.

Due to delicate construction, I have not examined portrait outside of frame.

Possibly doing so might reveal some details of the sitter or the artist.

Condition: In very good overall condition. The frame lacks the clasp pin but does have the suspension ring.
