Artist: William  Charles ROSS 1794-1860 - A rare Regency Royal group of miniatures Signed by W. C. Ross: an exquisite  group of 3 miniatures atributed to the Royal miniature painter William  Charles ROSS 1794 - 1860.The first miniature  which reads on a piece of card behind the backing, Hon,M FF Dillon,Mrs W. F. Hamilton, maid of honour to the Queen 1838 and on the back of the painting ,painted by W. C. Ross miniatures to the Queen 1838. a.The second is of a young Prince Albert in a fur lined coat,which Ross painted several of the Prince and nearly all are in the royal collection .The third miniature, im not sure who she is. This is a very fine and rare group of miniatures by one of the top Regency miniature painters of that era,and his works fetch very high sums of money at auction.

Measurements: The first miniature measures 9.5cmx7.5cm,the middle,13cmx101/4cm,and the third 5cmx4cm.

Condition: In very good overall condition. The frame lacks the clasp pin but does have the suspension ring.
